Jeffrey Stoudt

Jeffrey Lee Stoudt, 56 of Essington, PA died unexpectedly Monday, October 6 at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park from heart failure due to a dental infection. Jeff was born April 8, 1959 in Feasterville, PA, the son of LeRoy and Ann (Simmons) Stoudt. The family moved to Coopersburg in 1965 where Jeff attended Southern Lehigh schools and was involved in community baseball from Little League through high school. He attended Messiah College where he played baseball and majored in biology, graduating in 1976. He worked in his field as a lab technician for Betz, Converse, and Murdock Engineering in Philadelphia then took a sabbatical to pursue Christian mission work in urban Chicago and Philadelphia. He was a member of East Swamp Church, Quakertown. Jeff joined Intertek Labs in Philadelphia in 2006 and worked there until his death. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother Ken Stoudt and wife, Myra (Young) of Coopersburg and brother Jeremy Stoudt and wife, April (Ford), and minor nieces Maggie and Ellie Stoudt, all of Schwenksville, PA as well as niece Rachel (Stoudt) and Peter Kalbach, Red Hill, PA and three great-nieces. He will be dearly missed. A Service of Memory will be held at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown on Monday, October 12th at 3:00 PM with a greeting time at 2:30 PM and following the service. A private interment will be held at East Swamp Church Cemetery prior to the Service.
