Jean Vandegrift

Jean Louise Vandegrift, age 62, passed away peacefully on Monday June 1, 2020 at her home in Trumbauersville, PA surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 7, 1957 in Quakertown, PA, Jean was the daughter of the late William and Jane (Plucinska) Busch. She was the youngest of five children. Jean was a graduate of Quakertown Community High School. Jean's love for flowers kept her at Rosedale Growers for over twenty years. Her customers and co-workers were near and dear to her heart. In Jean's free time she loved to be with her family, go to yard sales, dance in the kitchen and spoil her grandchildren. On Sundays she would catch up on her favorite book, watch cooking shows and cheer on her favorite football team, the Eagles. Jean had a heart of gold, a competitive spirit and was loved by everyone who knew her. Jean was a member of Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Trumbauersville Jean is survived by her loving partner Todd Beck, her children Sonja (Gibson) Shearer, husband Robert of Souderton, PA, Ryan Gibson of Quakertown, PA, Amanda Beck and her Fiancée Steven DiCarlantonio of Perkasie, PA, Samantha Beck of Trumbauersville, PA and her three adored grandchildren Aliyah Shearer, Mya DiCarlantonio and Michael DiCarlantonio. She also leaves behind her sister Phyllis Chami of Allentown, PA, sister Mary Jane Fitzgerald of Quakertown, PA, her brother Jesse Vandegrift and his wife Dannette of Simpsonville, SC as well as her sister-in-law Lynn Vandegrift of Quakertown, PA. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Fred Vandegrift of Quakertown, PA. Services and interment will be private and at the discretion of the family.
