Jamie L. Place, 43, of Quakertown, died with his girlfriend, Mary Shoener, of Middleport, in a motorcycle accident in Greene, NY., Sunday June 24. Jamie was the son of Kathleen L. (Brzezicki) Place, with whom he resided and the late William T. Place. Born in Quakertown, he was a 1987 graduate of Quakertown High School. He was the warehouse manager for Premium Sign Supplies, Inc., Telford. Previously he worked for the former Vinyl Sign Supplies Co., Quakertown, Richland Feed Co., Richlandtown, and farmed on the Place Brothers Farm, Richlandtown. He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church, Quakertown, the Sellersville Moose Lodge, Beethoven Waldheim, Leithsville, and the Silver Creek Athletic Assoc., Springtown. He enjoyed bowling. Surviving with his mother, sisters Janine Gruber (Jesse), Richlandtown, Maurine Cressman (Daniel), Quakertown, Julianne Place ( Dan Brechbiel) Brookhaven, nieces. A funeral mass will be celebrated 1 Pm Sat. June 30 in St. Isidore's Catholic Church, 2425 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
