James A. Swavely, 47, of Philadelphia, died Feb. 25 in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Raymond D. Swavely of Quakertown and Linda (Landis) Odom of Quakertown. He had worked a number of years in the city line area as a project coordinator and maintenance provider. James enjoyed biking, camping, and spending time with his nieces & nephews. He will be greatly missed by his family. Surviving with his parents are a brother, Jonathan, wife "JJ", Oceanside, CA, sisters Jill Bohrer, husband David & Joann Kramer, husband Guy, Naperville, IL, nephews & nieces, Joshua, Juyeon, Daniel, Robert, Melissa, Isaac, Alison, Benjamin, Olivia and step-father Sam Odom, step-mother, Wendy Swavely. He was predeceased by a nephew Joshua Bohrer. A memorial service will be held 7:30 PM Tuesday, March 2 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler ST., Quakertown.
