James S. Ridley, of Pipersville, passed away peacefully in his home on June 11, 2012. He was 93. Jim grew up in Lisbon Falls, Maine. After graduation, he served in the Army Medical Core and was based in Camp Kilmer, N.J. He worked for Weston Instruments, while living in Scotch Plains, NJ. He very much enjoyed visiting Maine for hunting, fishing and family vacations. He was also an avid woodworker, building pine furniture and later, bluebird and purple mountain houses. He was the husband of the late Elaine B. Ridley for 69 years. He is survived by his son, James Ridley II, of Annandale, N.J. and his daughter Jill Wolf and husband Art of Ottsville. He has two granddaughters, Heidi and Joanna Wolf. Memorial service will be private. Any contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in his name to Rolling Hills United Methodist Church, Pipersville.
