James W. Plageman, 92, formerly of Willow Grove, died Wed., Oct. 19th at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. He was the beloved husband of Louise (Pliscott) Plageman for 55 years. Born in Richmond, VA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Marie (Donahoe) Plageman. Jim served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, after which he worked for the Department of Veteran's Affairs as a claims examiner. He is survived by son James (Erika) Plageman, Jr. of Douglassville; daughter, Carol (Robert) Leiter of Richlandtown; and grandchildren Michael, Kevin, and Joseph. Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Wed., Oct. 26th at Jeffery A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Interment in St. John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jim's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St. Ste. 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
