James W. Mohr, 88, of Milford Square, died on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Grand View Hospital. Jim was born in Milford Township to Milton and Nellie (Fretz) Mohr and was happily married for nearly 70 years to the love of his life, Kathryn "Kassie" (Sell) Mohr. Jim loved his family and enjoyed using his wit and humor to have fun and make people laugh whether in a family gathering or at an auction. An auctioneer for 63 years, Jim was known for his entertaining auctions. A lifelong member of West Swamp Mennonite Church, Jim's faith was exhibited in the way he lived his life, conducted business, and loved people. Surviving are his Wife, Kassie Mohr; Son, Dean Mohr of Spinnerstown; Daughters, Deb Stevenback of Quakertown, Bonnie Simcox of Brighton, CO, Joan Hallman of Pennsburg, Gayle Willouer of Red Hill, Lisa Bowers of McPherson, KS; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown Rd., Quakertown: A viewing will be held Friday, January 16th, 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, January 17th, 10:00-11:00 AM, with services to follow at 11:00 AM.
