James Kantner

James Donald Kantner, 72, of Quakertown passed away on March 16, 2022. He was born in Cameron County, PA on May 3, 1949 to the late Donald and Marie (Belis) Kantner. James was the loving husband of the late Brenda (Truesdale) Kantner until her passing on February 8, 2022.

James retired from Amtrak in 2012 after over 39 years of dedicated service. He was an avid fan of Star Trek and anything Sci Fi, the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State Football.

James is survived by his daughters Heather Kantner and Rebecca Ohrberg (Carl); brothers Russell and Robert Kantner; and grandson Alex Ohrberg.

Memorial services will be announced at a later time.
