James Brown

James Rene Brown, age 84, of Quakertown, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Georgina Macintosh Brown, with whom he shared 61 years of marriage. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of the late Charles Carr Brown and the late Nellie Claudon Brown. James served our country overseas in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was the Senior Vice President in commercial banking for Norwich Savings Society for most of his career. James was a Mason for 15+ years while living in Detroit, MI. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald S. Brown and his wife Jennie of Lansdale, PA; one granddaughter, Robin Sakofs and her husband Daniel; his great grand-kids, Avery and Karl; one sister, Carol Ann Nygren and her children Elizabeth Laatsch and her husband Adam, and son Jon Nygren and niece Deborah Hummer.
