Irene Martin

Irene Edna (Detweiler) Martin, age 90, died Wed. March 25, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospice House of the VNA, Bethlehem. Born Aug. 29, 1929 in Bedminster Twp, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Anna (Tiefenthaler) Detweiler, and the widow of the late Alfred G. Martin, to whom she was married 51 years. Irene is survived by: son Allen Martin; daughters Donna Weaver, Wanda Wolf, Ruth Kline, and Betty Martin; brother William Detweiler; sister Ethel Buzdygon; as well as 8 beloved grandchildren and 10 adored great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by: granddaughter Tracy Weaver; brothers Russell, James, and Richard; sisters Anna and Joyce; and stepson Gerald Martin.
