Ilona Wilk

Ilona Wilk, 76, of Allentown, formerly of Pisgah Forest, NC died Wed. Dec. 23 in Lehigh Valley Hospice. She was the widow of Ray Giedrys and Chet Wilk. Born in Lithuania, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Jonas and Stephanja Makauskis. She received her Master's in library science and worked for thirty years as a research librarian for Merck Pharmaceuticals. Surviving are her children, Michael Wilk, wife Antoinette of Pine Bluff AK, Daniel Wilk, wife Donna of Bethlehem, Thomas Wilk, wife Linda of Kirkland, WA, Donna Yonchak, husband Steve of Needham, MA, Elaine Pappas, husband Sunday of Andreas, and Marion Gottlieb, husband Stu of Bridgewater, NJ; grandchildren Shawn, Ryan, Daniel, Kyle, Dylan, Jake, Grace, Ellie, Jessica, Alex, Melissa, & Nicole; great-grandchildren, Dominick, Ryan, Jr., Lois, & Addison. Funeral services will be in the care of the family.
