Ida Shaffer, 92, of Souderton, previously Quakertown, died Tues., July 9. She was the widow of Ralph H. Shaffer. Born in Quakertown, daughter of the late Clarence D. and Alice (Walp) Carbaugh. Member East Swamp Church, Quakertown. Surviving, children, Christine Thompson (Glenn), Judith Kliewer (Richard), James (Janna), & Kenneth (Eloise); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; & brother, Clarence. Services 11 Am, Friday, July 12, East Swamp Church, Quakertown. Interment church cemetery. Call at church 10 - 11 AM.
