Howard Rodgers

Howard B. Rodgers, Jr., 89, of Quakertown, passed away Wed. December 5 in his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Shirley R. (Henry) Rodgers having celebrated 69 years of marriage this past March 21. Born in Bomanstown, Carbon County, Howard was the son of the late Howard B. and Irene (Boman) Rodgers. Howard was a carpenter for various companies for more than 40 years. He is a veteran of the United States Army, 101st airborne and served in the south Pacific during WWII. Surviving with his wife are; son Barton J. Rodgers of Quakertown, daughter Carol Berlanti of Somerset, PA, brother Randall Rodgers, wife Regina of Whittier, CA, four Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Services will be private. Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service is handling Howard's arrangements.
