Harry Steitz

Harry F. Steitz, 94, of Center Valley, died Sat., May 29th, at Phoebe Richland. He was the husband of the late Mary (Fanning) Steitz. Born in Philadelphia, Harry was a son of the late Harry and Eugengia (Schlezig) Steitz. Harry served in the Air Force during WWII and was always proud of his service. He was active in the VA and VFW. After the war, he embarked on a lifelong career in plumbing. He was a master plumber, and a member of his plumber's union for over 75 years. He loved to teach, and he always lent a hand to friends and neighbors who needed help. Surviving are his son Harry Steitz of Norristown and daughter Arlene (Robert) Briamonte of Center Valley. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
