Harold Dietz

Harold L. Dietz, 86, of Quakertown, died Wed. June 25th at his home. He was the husband of Florence (Benfield) Dietz. He worked as a banker at Bucks County Bank and Union National Bank for many years prior to his retirement. Born in Richland Twp., he was the son of the late Wilmer and Mabel (Awckland) Dietz. He was a member at Springfield Mennonite Church, Coopersburg and a former member at East Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown. For many years he served on the board of the former Quakertown Children's Home. Surviving with his wife are daughters, Sharon Schanely, husband Paul, of Essex Junction, VT, and Beverly Leatherman, husband Clifford, of Quakertown; Grandchildren, Travis, Tricia, Adam, and Aaron; Great Grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, and Anna. Services will be held at 7:00 PM, Mon. June 30th at Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Call: 5:30-7:00 PM. Interment at East Swamp Cemetery.
