Guy Foulke

Guy Louis "Louie" Foulke, Jr, 63, of Quakertown & Hilton Head, SC, died suddenly Sat. July 5, 2013 in his Quakertown residence. He was the son of Vivian (Mease) Foulke, Quakertown and the late Guy L. Foulke, Sr. Surviving with his mother, are his beloved fiancée, Linda Fretz, of Hilton Head, his daughter Jennifer Ramsey, wife of Patrick Pfuhl, and their two sons, James Waylon and Phillip Maximus of Hilton Head, step-daughter, Trish, wife of Josh Burson; his sisters, Susan Serrill and Kelly Blondin; his brothers, Rex Foulke and Kurt Foulke; and his step-grandchildren, Samantha, Mackenzie, Will, and Wes Steich. He was preceded in death by a sister, Lori Foulke. A native of Quakertown, born March 30, 1950, he currently resided in Hilton Head Island, SC. He was a 1968 graduate of Quakertown High School and attended Strayer University, Washington, DC for business administration. Guy began working as a service technician for packaging machinery and worked his way, first into sales and eventually into administration, serving as president for many prestigious food packaging companies. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to foster the growth of many of his own successful companies. His legacy will be remembered through his selfless support of charities; Volunteers in Medicine, Deep Well Foundation, Community Foundation of the Lowcountry, The Children's Relief Fund, and many more. He could be relied upon during any crisis or disaster - locally, nationally or internationally. Guy contributed his time and passion to his community through service on boards in his neighborhood, with local businesses and throughout Hilton Head. Guy was an avid sportsman and accomplished outdoorsman with a passion for horses, boats, fishing, and vintage sports cars. Most importantly, for his friends and associates, he will be remembered for his humor, wit, and generosity. He was larger than life and made a lasting impression on all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all. But, he has left many with more laughs, memories and love than he could have ever imagined. A ceremony celebrating his life and sharing memories will be held 7:30 PM Wed., July 10 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Wed. 6 - 7:30 PM.
