George Stuart

George Douglas Stuart, age 77, died Thur. March 19, 2020, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born March 27, 1942, in Quakertown, he was the son of the late George V. Stuart and the late Ruth (Wentz) Stuart-Tompkins, and the beloved husband of Rosemarie (Stastny) Stuart, to whom he was married 56 years at the time of his passing. A 1960 graduate of Quakertown High School, George went on to graduate from Bethlehem Business School. After marrying Rosemarie in 1964, George served his country in the Pennsylvania National Guard for 6 years. For over 40 years, he was employed as an automobile salesman, for both Gutshall's Chevrolet in Hellertown, and then Strohl's Chevrolet in Fogelsville. George will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. In addition to his wife, George is survived by: brother Patrick Stuart (wife Debra), of Lehighton; several nieces and nephews; and beloved Shih-Tzu "Bailey".
