George Carmer

George E. Carmer III, 63, of Coopersburg passed away Wednesday July 28th, 2021, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Grasmeder) Carmer.  He was the loving husband of Tracy (Ruth) Carmer.

George proudly served his country in the United States Army.  After attending Lafayette College, he earned his bachelor's degree at Cedar Crest College where he graduated summa cum laude.  He then worked for the former Data Card, newly named Entrust, for 41 years as the lead field service technician.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Pleasant Valley.  As a young boy he enjoyed quarter midget racing.  He loved to travel and enjoyed attending all his grandchildren's sports events, concerts, playing Pinochle  and spending time with his family.   Above all, George took great pride in providing for his family.

He is survived by wife Tracy, children, George Carmer IV, Kimberly Carmer, Melissa Osmun, Stephanie Herr, Ashley Brunner, siblings, Kathy Bauer, Karen Brown, and Craig Carmer.  grandchildren, Ava, Ellie, Lucius, Tayden, Alexis, Brynn, Chloe, Irvin, Isaac, and Alister, in-laws, Robert and Nancy Yarmush, brothers and sisters in-law, Scott Ruth, Wilson and Kristy Ruth, and Dean and Angie Ruth.  He was predeceased by son, Elias Carmer.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 7, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church- Pleasant Valley, 2170 PA-212, Coopersburg, PA 18036.  Friends and relatives may call from 11-12 in the church prior to the service.  Naugle Funeral & Cremation service has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1541 Alta Dr., St. 204, Whitehall, PA 18052 in honor of  Elias.
