Gene & Joanne Vallauri

Joanne Dorothy Vallauri was born on October 30, 1940 in Camden, NJ to the late Henry and Dorothy Boenning. 

Gene Stephen Vallauri was born on January 13, 1941 in Pleasantville, NJ to the late Luigi and Ida (Pietrantoni) Vallauri.

The two would meet at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Pleasantville, NJ. They would marry in September 24, 1960, honeymoon in Williamsburg, VA, and shared 64 years of marriage together. Joanne and Gene raised their two children together and were devoted grandparents as well. They spent the latter years of their lives surrounded by family and friends. Loving, nurturing, and teaching their grandsons during their formative years until they grew up to be upstanding young men now with families of their own. Job well done!

We miss you so much Mom and Dad, Nan and Pop, but we are overjoyed knowing you are together again, now perfect, united in heaven for eternity. They are finally where they belong!

Gene passed away on February 9, 2025, and Joanne would follow on February 20, 2025. Those 11 days would be the longest they were apart in their many decades together.

They are survived by their children Barry Vallauri and Dana Longacre; grandsons Micah (Shauna) Longacre and Levi (Julia) Longacre; great granddaughter Margot Longacre; Gene's brother John Vallauri; and many other loving family and friends. They are predeceased by their parents; Joanne's brother Alan; Gene's siblings Rudolph, Robert, and Mary. 

The two will be laid to rest together privately at Immanuel Leidy's Cemetery in Souderton.
