Gayle Stoneback

Gayle Dahmer Stoneback, wife of the late Ralph D. Stoneback, passed away on Nov. 30, 2014 at the Luther Crest Community in Allentown. Born in New Orleans, LA, she was the daughter of the late Edwin J. and Loretta (Malone) Dahmer. She was a graduate of Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University and Louisiana State University where she obtained her Bachelors of Art and Masters of Science Degrees. She was a member and former President of the Woman's Club of Quakertown. She served on the board of Trustees of Good Shepherd Hospital and was President of the Good Shepherd Auxiliary. Gayle was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Quakertown where she served as the director of Vacation Bible School. Upon moving to Luther Crest she joined St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Trexlertown. She is survived by her children; J. Daniel of West Branch MI, James A. of Quakertown, David D. of Skokie IL. and Laura L. of Alburtis PA. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and her sister Lynn Bohne of New Orleans. Calling hours will be held on Thurs. Dec. 4th from 2-3pm at Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown, PA. and Dec. 5th from 9-10:30am at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 8227 Hamilton Blvd, Texlertown, PA with a Funeral Service to Follow. Interment will take place at 3pm in Sellersville Cemetery.
