Frederick J. Haas Jr., 81, of Perkasie passed away at his home surrounded by his family Friday, July 30, 2021.  Born in Neptune, NJ, he was the son of the late Frederick Haas Sr. and Laura (Midgley) Haas. He was the loving husband of Carole (Nutter) Haas, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

Fred honorably served his country in the United States Navy.  After his service, he attended the Culinary Institue and then worked for many years in the food industry.

Fred was a long-time member of St. Peter's Tohickon U.C.C.  He was also an active member in the local chapters of the American Legion and the VFW.  Fred was also a proud member of the Quakertown Band, where he provided his saxophone talents for over 30 years.

He enjoyed spending his spare time admiring classic cars, gardening, and raising his chickens. He also especially loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by son, Russell Haas, daughter, Erica Henry, brothers, Joseph and David Haas, grandchildren, Michael, Cai, Lizzie, KalliAnn, Emma, and Sarah.  He was predeceased by grandson Mason Haas.

Friends may call from 4:00-5:00 PM, Friday, August 6, at Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951.  A memorial service will follow from 5:00-6:00PM.
