Franklin Sine

Franklin A. Sine, Sr., 76, of Quakertown, died Mon. Sept. 24, 2012 in St. Luke's hospital Quakertown. He was the husband of Doris E. (Carlson) Sine with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage this past June 4. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Oscar D. and Lillian R. (Leh) Sine. Frank was the long-time owner of Sine's Saw Service which he started in 1968 and ran until 2011. The past several years, he took up woodworking, making seasonal lawn ornaments. He was a Peacetime veteran serving in the United States Air Force. Frank was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Richlandtown, AARP, the Sellersville Legion Kraft Post 255, and the Paletown Rod & Gun Club where he enjoyed fishing, hunting deer and small game. He was also a member of Smooth Sailing, an organization that helps people with certain medical conditions enjoy vacation cruises. Surviving with his wife, sons: Franklin A. Jr, wife Meg, Bangkok Thailand, William M., wife Sheyam, Northampton, Edward C. fiancée Tammy, Fayetteville, PA and Dean N. Coopersburg, Daughter: Christine Kerrigan, husband Jeffrey, Perkasie, Brothers: James Sr. wife Twyla, Sioux Falls, LeRoy wife Sarah, Schertz, TX, Sisters: Orletta Bealer, Quakertown, Olethea Egner husband Charles, Sellersville and 11 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers William and Elvin. Services will be held Mon., Oct 1, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service 135 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown. Call: 10-11 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Woodland Cemetery, Upper Saucon Twp.
