Franklin Norman Lennard Sr., 92, of Quakertown, passed away on January 28, 2025. He was born on October 24, 1932 to the late Margaret Feikel. He was the loving husband of the late Dorothy (Renner) Lennard for 59 years until her passing in 2011. Franklin was a founding member of the Haycock Volunteer Fire Department, and assisted them as a life member, and eventually an assistant chief. He was an avid deer hunter and sportsman. Franklin was devoted to his family and friends, and was a loving Pop to his grandchildren. He was loved and respected by all and will be greatly missed.
Franklin is survived by his children Mary (Robert) Ackerman, Michael (Lynne) Lennard, Susan Negley; grandchildren Jesse, Sarah, Meghan, Jon, Josh, and Michael; great grandchildren Kayla, Tyler, Liam, Nicholas, Norah, and Jason; and many other loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his mother; wife; son Franklin Lennard Jr.; and grandson Thomas Wagner.
All are invited on Saturday, February 8, to Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951 for a visitation from 9-10am, and a memorial service at 10am. Interment will be privately held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Applebachsville on a later date at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Franklin's name can be made to the Haycock Fire Company, 850 Old Bethlehem Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951.
