Frances M. Everett, 86, of Ottsville, passed away peacefully November 17 at home after an extensive decline in health surrounded by her family. Frances was the beloved wife of Leo A. Everett, married for 64 years. Born August 12, 1926 in Colerain, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Conway) Funk. When love came along in 1948, she married Leo and moved to State College, PA. There she began her family and pursued many of her hobbies which she perfected over the years. Seamstress, enthusiastic gardener, quilter and artist. Her husband's career took them to numerous states, NJ, PA, MD, VA, and GA. Once unpacked and weather permitting, a new garden would be established and her children would be involved from planting to harvesting and always enjoying nature's bounty. Frances will be forever remembered on her porch, sitting at sunset overlooking her hundreds of irises on her property and enjoying conversations with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Leo and her eight children; William Everett, Hackettstown, NJ, Danny Everett, Harrisburg, PA, Denise Henderson, Boston, VA, Leo Everett, Perkasie, PA, Anita Kafka, Denver, CO, Kathy Everett, Ottsville, PA, Joyce Morgan, Ottsville, PA, Virginia Everett, Ottsville, PA. Sister Laura Witmer, Harrisburg, PA, Brother, Butch Funk, Harrisburg, PA, 17 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service, 11:30 am Wednesday, November 28, in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral and Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown, PA, Call 10:30-11:30 in the funeral home.
