Florence F. "Flossie" Fosbenner, 89, of Green Lane, previously of Haycock Township, Quakertown, died on Sat., August 5, at Arden Courts of Allentown. She was the wife of the late Harold D. Fosbenner for many years. Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late William and Estella "Stella" (Frank) Dietz. Florence was a waitress for Sine's 5 & 10, Quakertown, for over 30 years. In addition she worked various times for the former Auckland Farm Market, former Thayer Weed Shop, former Tuttleman's Shirt Factory, former CP Thayer Greenhouse, and the former Marvin Spurr Produce Stand. In her free time she enjoyed painting and was an avid reader, whether it was reading to herself or to a group of people. She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran, East Greenville. Surviving are her children: Barbara Bright of Green Lane; Linda Haines, husband David of Red Hill; David H., wife Pam of Quakertown; Thomas J. of Telford; Daniel J., wife Renee of East Greenville; and Mark W. of Quakertown; twelve Grandchildren; nine Great-Grandchildren; Siblings: Paul Dietz; Mildred Wolf; Raymond Dietz; and Catherine Sloyer. She was preceded in death by seven siblings. A Memorial service will be held Noon, Sat., Aug., 26th in St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran, 81 Main St, Pennsburg with a calling hour prior to the service. A viewing will be held from 7:00-9:00 PM on Wed., Aug., 9 at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown. Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark's Endowment Fund or St. Mark's Summer Music Camp Fund, 81 Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073; or you can read a book to someone or donate a book to your local school or library in honor of Florence and her love of books.
