Evelyn Ahlum

Evelyn Ruth Ahlum, 77, of Quakertown, passed away Sat. Dec 21 in Belle Haven. She was the wife John E. Ahlum for 51 years. Born in Dublin, PA, she was the daughter of Arnold and Mabel (Myers) Black. She was a 1954 graduate of the former Sell Perk High School, now Pennridge. Evelyn was a member of United Mennonite Church, Quakertown, where she served as a former church financial secretary for a number of years. Surviving with her husband, son, Jeffrey, daughter, Diane Schreier, husband Brian, both of Quakertown; granddaughters, Rachel and Courtney. She was preceded in death by brothers, Emerson and Earl Black. Service will be held Sat. Dec 28 at 11am in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951, with a calling period from 9-11am. Interment to follow in Flatland Mennonite Cemetery.
