Eugene W. Leister, 90, of Quakertown, died Sun. Apr. 2nd at Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Edith (Miller) Leister for 69 years. Born in Hereford, he was a son of the late Irvin and Emma (Moll) Leister. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as a maintenance mechanic for Moore Business Forms in Quakertown for many years. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Quakertown. Surviving with his wife is his son, Timothy Leister, wife Joy of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughters, Christine Fox, husband Jay of Barto, and Patricia Eschbach, husband Steve of Harleysville; grandchildren, Brett (Valerie), Derek (Erin), Megan (Paul), Kevin, Felicity (Jeff), Harmony (James), and Kimberly; great grandchildren, Tyler, Alexis, Hayden, George, Jude, Ava, and Abram; sister, June Ann Laudenslager of Aurora, CO. He was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Rothenberger, Elizabeth Horne Meihofer, Ethel Bigler, Eleanor Reese, Emma Shive, and Gloria Kline; and brothers, Harry Leister, William Leister, and Durrell Lesiter. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Fri. April 21st at First United Church of Christ, 151 S. 4th St., Quakertown.
