Eric Maxwell

Eric Maxwell,78, of Quakertown, formerly of Doylestown, passed away Saturday April 20, 2013 in Quakertown Center. He was the husband of Ellen M. (Thompson) Maxwell and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this August 31. Born in Manchester, England, he was the son of the late Thomas W. and Doris H. (Beverley) Maxwell. Eric was a self-employed auto mechanic having owned Autocraft Sunoco in Warminster for 23 years. He retired in 2000. He enjoyed watching Indy racing, was a huge Manchester United Soccer fan, played the organ and enjoyed classical music. Surviving with his wife are sons; Thomas J. Maxwell, wife Melissa of Quakertown, David J. Maxwell of Horsham, PA, daughter; Elaine DeJesus of Revere, PA. Grandchildren; Sean, Patrick, Anastasia, Jessica, and Kelsey, great grandchild; Odin. Services will be held at 7pm, Thursday April 25 in the New Britain Baptist Church, Rt 202 and Tamenend Ave. New Britain, PA 18901 with a calling hour from 6 until 7.
