Elsie Jenks

Elsie Mae (Trumbauer) Jenks, age 81, of Quakertown, passed away on Monday September 26th, 2022, at LifeQuest Nursing Center. Born in Quakertown, Elsie was the daughter of the late Lester Trumbauer and Dorothy (Steich) Trumbauer.

Elsie enjoyed many things including dancing, coloring, wordsearches, going to yard-sales with her sister Joan, and going to the casino. She loved doing her friends hair and giving them perms, and she liked to drink coffee and eat donuts around the dinner table with her family and friends.

Elsie will be remembered by her son Dean Kline and his wife Diane from Sheppton; four daughters, Brenda Church and her husband Leo from Coopersburg, Tammy Reigle and Joe Kearney from Trumbauersville, Cindy Birli and her husband Scott from Barto, and Cathy Weighknecht and her husband Rodney from New Ringgold; her niece/ daughter, Donna Taylor; her grandchildren who knew her as “MomMom”, Brad Kline, Melony Kline, Melissa Kline, Tim Pritchard, Mike Pritchard, Josh Moyer, Raymond “Buddy” Reigle, Tara Moyer, Jordan Wasser, Noah Wasser, Kira Wasser, and Shyann Weighknecht; and her 17 great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her sister, Joan Gross from Perkasie, her brother Kenny Trumbauer from Arizona, and sister-in-law Dolly.  Elsie was predeceased by her two brothers, Richard from Quakertown and her twin brother Ellis “Butch” and his wife Lynn from East Greensville, and a great-grandchild, Hannah Raelyn Moyer. Elsie will be remembered for how much she loved her family and friends.
