Elaine Young

Elaine Heuckeroth Young, daughter of the late Chester A. Arthur Heuckeroth and the late Anna K. Moyer Heuckeroth. She was married to the late William J. Young for 27 years. She attended Quakertown High School where she won several spelling championships, and graduated in 1937. She worked in her father's Real Estate and Insurance Office for 10 years. She was a homemaker for 27 years and then was employed as a proof-reader at the Quakertown Free Press until her retirement. She was a lifelong resident of Quakertown and loved to take walks through town. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Quakertown since. 1936. Surviving is a sister June H. Bishop of Telford. Step children: Edward Young, Dorothy Hippeli both of Quakertown; Mary Lamparter, Harford, NY. Step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, John Harold, Lester M. and Robert M. Heuckeroth; one sister, Anna Marie Heuckeroth; two step sons, Robert and Arthur Young; one step daughter, Frances (Young) Heuckeroth; two step grandchildren.
