Edward A. Schroeder, 88, of Quakertown, died Sat., April 12 at home. He was the loving husband of Ramona (Whiteman) Schroeder for over 63 years. Prior to retirement in 1980 he worked for the former Warner and Swayze, King of Prussia, for 35 years as a supervisor in the tool and dye manufacturing department. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Edward H. and Emma (Stiess) Schroeder. He was a member of Bread of Life Church, Quakertown. Edward was proud to serve his country in the US Navy during WWII on the USS Henry A. Wiley. Surviving with his wife, son, Ron, wife Victoria, Quakertown; grandchildren Dakota Brown, wife Katie, Justin, wife Kelly, Chris, wife Noelle and Melissa Schroeder; great-grandchildren Elyshia, Kyle, Kiersten, Hannah, Ashley and Kaitlynn. He was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Brown and brother William. Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Sat. April 26 in the Bread of Life Church, 415 W. Broad St., Quakertown.
