Edna Helverson

Edna "Arlene" Helverson, 84, of Quakertown, previously of Richlandtown, died Sat, Oct. 29, in Saucon Valley Manor. She was the wife of the late Herbert K. Helverson. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Horace A. and Florence Irene (Fulmer) Schmell. Surviving, daughter, Barbara A. Gerhart, husband Arthur of Quakertown; Linda S. Peddigree, husband Albert Sr. of Lehighton; son, Barry L. Helverson, wife Julia; son, Scott E. Helverson, wife Jeannie of Coopersburg; daughter, Pamela F. Lapinski of Quakertown; son, Jeffrey A. Helverson, wife Janine of Boyertown; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald and wife Norma; Ray and wife Dorothy all of Quakertown; Willard and wife Anne of Oklahoma; sister, Shirley Laubach, husband Richard Sr. of Quakertown; companion, Robert Stoneback. She was predeceased by daughter, Bonnie Lou; granddaughter, Teresa; brothers, Horace Jr. and Kenneth. Service will be held 11:00 am Thurs, Nov. 3rd in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd.,Quakertown. Call: 6-8 pm Wed, Nov. 2 and 10-11 am Thurs. in the funeral home. Interment: Quakertown Union Cemetery.
