Evelyn Mary Gustner of Quakertown died Thursday, August 4th, 2011 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 93. She was formerly of Clemson, SC and Dearborn, MI. She was preceded in death by her first husband Bernard Jozwick (1965), by her second husband Harold Gustner (2009), and by her siblings Wanda Hammer, Harold Tremain, and Opal Schwynn. Born in Kingsley, MI, she was the daughter of the late Bernice (Stinson) and Leslie Tremain. Mary was a designer, dress maker, jewelry maker, knitter, quilter, square dancer, and golfer, and most recently enjoyed active pursuits including water aerobics, Tai Chi and kayaking. She quilted for over twenty years with the Lake and Mountain Quilters Guild and the Keowee Kwilters in SC, recently joining the Keystone Quilters Guild in PA. On her 90th birthday, Mary had a one-person show of her quilting works; she always enjoyed adding her own unique design touch to the quilts she created. Mary is survived by her loving family: her three children Sondra Bagot (Jozwick) and her husband Thomas of Edinburg, TX; Alison Hall (Jozwick) and her husband Ed of Quakertown, PA; and Gary Jozwick and his wife Cheryl of West Bloomfield, MI; and seven grandchildren, Janice Farrell, John Bagot, Thomas Bagot, Pamela Dunn, Thanuja Hall, Susan Williams, Jeffrey Jozwick; and nine great grandchildren. The family will honor Mary's life and memory with a Memorial Service on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at 3:00pm. The service will be conducted at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service at 135 West Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may donate to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, Attn: Donation to Hospice, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672, 864-885-7909 or to the charity of your choice.
