Dorothy Schmell

Dorothy A. Schmell, 77, Quakertown died Mon Mar 12 in St. Luke's Hospital-Bethlehem. She was the loving wife of Raymond L. Schmell. They would have celebrated 52 years of marriage in July She worked as a sewing machine operator for Quaker Safety Products, Quakertown before retiring. Born in Bucks Co., she was the daughter of the late Raymond, Sr. and Edith (Apple) Hillegass Dorothy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Richlandtown. She volunteered for over 30 years with the Richlandtown Playground Association. Surviving with her husband: son Curtis A., brothers: Norman and Harry, sisters: Marion Bernd, Margaret Allison and Judith Morgan.
