Dorothy Lennard

Dorothy M. " Dottie" Lennard, 80, of Quakertown, died Oct. 14 in Belle Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of Franklin N. Lennard, Sr. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in June. Born in W. Rockhill Twp., she was a daughter of the late John and Mabel (Schaufner) Renner. She was a charter member of the auxiliary to Haycock Vol. Fire Co. Surviving with her husband are sons Franklin N., Jr, wife Pat of Perkasie, Michael A., wife Lynne of Quakertown; daughters Mary Ackerman, husband Robert of Quakertown, Susan M.; brother, William, Quakertown; sister, Sharon Niles, husband Chester of Quakertown; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be held 11 Am Tues., Oct 18, 11 AM in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd, Quakertown. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Applesbachville. Call Mon., Oct 17, 7 - 9 PM & Tues. 10 - 11 AM at the funeral home. Memorials to a charity of choice.
