Dorothy Fischer

January 23, 1935 — July 27, 2017

Dorothy E. Fischer, 82, of Quakertown, died Thurs. July 27 at her home. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Anton and Elizabeth Fischer. She worked for St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital and the former Quakertown Community Hospital for 49 years. She is survived by a nephew, a niece, a great-niece, and many great friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Mon. July 31st at St. Isidore's Roman Catholic Church, 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. A calling will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment to follow in St. Isidore's Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Luke's Hospice, 801 Ostrum St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
