Dorothy Ackerman

Dorothy A. Ackerman, 92 of Richlandtown died Thursday, Jan 24 at the Hospice House of St. Lukes, Bethlehem She was the wife of the late Paul C. Ackerman Dorothy worked with the US Postal Service for over 30 years. She was a clerk for over 25 years and served as the Richlandtown Post master for eight years before retiring in 1980 Born in Fountain Hill, Lehigh County, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Florence (Wimmer) Blanchard Dorothy was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Richlandtown where she was active in the ladies guild. She was also a former member of the Richlandtown Fire. Co. Auxiliary She is survived by her son Richard, P. and his wife Donna of Richlandtown, brother Robert, grandchildren Richard P. Jr. and Jodi Ackerman and great grandchildren Megan Haney and Sarah Anne Ackerman Family and friends may call Tues. Jan. 29 from 10-11 at Jeffrey A, Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, Quakertown.
