Donald Poulton

Donald C. Poulton, 83, of Allentown, previously of Quakertown, died on Thurs., July 27, at Luther Crest, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Ann Marie (Horne) Poulton. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Claude and M. Naomi (Schaeffer) Poulton. Donald was a machinist at the former U.S. Gauge, a division of Ametek Inc., Sellersville for over 30 years. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, riding his bicycle, and working on puzzles. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Quakertown. Surviving are his children: Brian Poulton of Moorpark, CA; Jeffrey Poulton of Temecula, CA; John Poulton of Tampa, FL, and Karen Brenner of Palm Bay, FL; Grandchildren: Rachel, Emily, Justine, Alexa, Cheyenne, and Dimitri. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Lynn Poulton. Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, August 11 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 102 N Hellertown Ave, Quakertown, with a visitation preceding at 9:00 AM. Interment in Quakertown Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the church.
