Donald P. "Dutch" Maugle, 76, of Quakertown, PA., died Mon., Jan. 4 in St. Luke's Bethlehem Hospital. He was the husband of Arlene A. (Bright) Maugle. They were married for 51 years last March. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Paul and Bertha (Brinze) Maugle. He was a truck driver for General Crushed Stone, Easton for a number of years before retiring in 1984 and previously he worked for Charles FoulkeTrucking and George Frank Trucking, both of Sellersville. For over 40 years, he was an avid hobbist both in the collection of antiques and the restoration of horse drawn vehicles. He was well known in a wide area for his restorations and was featured in an article in Bucks County magazine. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Quakertown and Grundsow Lodge # 4. He was a social member of the Quakertown Moose, American Legion and the former Quakertown Owls. Surviving: wife, Arlene; sons, David, wife Jeanne of Glenmoore, Joseph of Royersford; daughter, Donna Milligan, husband Warren of Pennsburg; grandchildren, Alex, Cate, Mike; brother, Charles of San Bernardino, CA. Predeceased by sister, Doris and brother, Kenneth. Services will be held 4:00 pm Mon, Jan. 11 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral Home, 20 N. Ambler St. Quakertown.
