DOLORES M. AMEY, 86, of Quakertown died Tuesday. She was the widow of William "Bill" L. Amey. Born in Shenandoah, Schuylkill Co., she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Regula) Kaszycki. She initially worked as a telephone operator in PA and NJ for the former Bell Telephone Co. Shortly after her marriage, she and her husband opened the former Liberty Bell Bakery, Quakertown which they operated from 1955 to 1988. She was a member of the Polish National Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Dolores is survived by her children Rene of Lititz, Jeffrey of Coopersburg, Gail of Quakertown, Ruth Barndt of Quakertown, Mark of Lancaster, and Trisa Stoneback of Trumbauersville; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and brother, Walter Kaszycki of Quakertown. Dolores was one of 16 children and predeceased by Anthony, Stanley, Joseph, Estell Wretzsch, Eva Mika, Bertha Cady, Sue Cosgrove, Antoinette Schnabl, Frances Sackman and infant siblings. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family with interment in Quakertown Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions should be directed to the West End Fire Co. #2, Park Ave., Quakertown.
