Diane M. Quinlan, age 70, of Quakertown, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 1, 2022.  Born on August 27, 1951, she was one of two daughters of the late Walter and Elizabeth (Johnston) Gauck. She was the loving wife of James P. Quinlan, with whom they shared 42 years of marriage.

Diane graduated from Pennington High School in 1969. She later earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from the College of Allied Health Sciences of Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cedar Crest College in Allentown PA.

Diane was employed for 20 years as a Registered Nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she worked in various ICUs, the transport team and did homecare Nursing.

Diane was a caring and loving individual. She had a passionate love for dogs, especially her golden retrievers which she used to breed and show. She always had a dog with her even up to the end. Diane was also very gifted in crafting. She used to make beautiful doll house furniture and houses as well as custom-made greeting cards.

In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her sisters-in-law, Peggy (Daniel) Klingler, Suzanne (Bill) Schultz, Mary (Ken) Zegarski, Diane (Mike) Perna, Patricia (Mike) Miller, Debbie (Dan) Fischer, and Jennifer Quinlan as well as many nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 7:00 PM at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, PA 18951.  A visitation will be held 6:00-7:00 prior to the service.
