Dennis H. Lapping, 72, of Quakertown passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Born in Quakertown on December 21, 1945, he was the son of the late Harold and Gloria (Gieseke) Lapping. He was of the Lutheran faith, a Navy veteran & served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Quakertown Lodge F&AM #512; Tall Cedars of Lebanon #146, and was a 32° with the Scottish Rite; a life member of the North Penn Gun Club, American Legion and the Betterment Club. Dennis was a Millwright for over 40 years, with Local 1906. He enjoyed spending time hunting with his friends at the cabin in the mountains and fishing. He also loved cruising around in his '74 Stingray and was a long time APA pool player. Dennis is survived by: the mother of his children, Nancy Cygan of Coopersburg; his daughters: Mallory Lapping of Coopersburg & Stephanie, wife of Joseph Kuzo of Bethlehem; brother, Harold Lapping, Jr. (Judy) of Maryland; sister, Candace Davis of California; nephews and niece: Christopher & James Lapping, and Kelly & Weston Davis. Services: 6:00 p.m., Thursday September 6th at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951.
