Dawn Louise Menser
Dawn L. Menser, age 55, of Green Lane, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on May 1, 2024, after a battle with terminal cancer. Despite the poor prognosis of cholangiocarcinoma, she continued living her life to the fullest and remained brave, kind, and compassionate throughout. She handled each challenge with grace and dignity and was often more concerned about the welfare of others than her own, even on her worst days. Dawn was born in Allentown, PA on September 23, 1968, to Carol and Donald Rehrig. Though she had a diverse set of interests, she was especially drawn to issues of animal welfare, as evidenced by her decades-long employment at Alpha Veterinary Hospital in Sellersville, PA. When Dawn wasn’t caring for her family and her own pets, she spent many hours nursing sick animals back to health, and volunteering at rescue organizations. In addition, Dawn was an avid reader, dedicated world traveler, and proud leader for Girl Scout Troop 2802. Her family fondly remembers her persistence and strength of character, even when it came to challenges as small as the daily crossword puzzle and as great as her wonderful home-cooked creations. Dawn will be missed tremendously by her husband, Keith, and her daughters, Ariana and Eliza, as well as countless additional friends and family members. She is preceded in death by her son, Jared Snider, and mother and father. Dawn will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, resilience in the face of adversity, and ability to light up a room with her smile. There will be a celebration of life at The Proper Brewing Company in Quakertown, PA on June 1st from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. Please RSVP to the family.
