David Michael Smith, 77, of Blandon, PA passed away on May 22, 2022. He was born in Sellersville, PA on March 23, 1945 to the late Wilmer Renninger and Elizabeth "Betty" (Weinacht) Smith. He was the loving husband of Linda Louise (Stevens) Smith for 44 years.
David is survived by his wife; children Catherine Coffey, Tracy Smith and Michael Smith; son-in-law Justin Coffey and grandsons Justin "JJ" Coffey and Mason Coffey; as well as many other loving family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents.
David graduated from NYU's Parson School of Design and had a career in textiles. David loved spending time with his family and loved ones. Over the years this looked like -- coaching his son's baseball team or building model airplanes; attending one of his daughter's music performances; taking roadtrips with his wife to see lighthouses and seaports in their mustang convertible; having pool night with "the gang" or teaching his grandson how to play chess. You could always find him watching Nascar; cheering on his favorite football or watching his favorite movie, Rudy. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, David managed his life with strength and love through the support of his loving wife.
All are invited on Friday, June 10th to a visitation from 10-11am and a celebration of life at 11am, both at Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951.
