David Lee Klinger, 51, of Sellersville, died Tue, Jan. 10 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenburg. He was husband and best friend of Lillianne (Levy) Klinger, with whom he celebrated 28 years of marriage on Nov. 12, 2011. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of William R. and Judith A. (Hooper) Klinger, Trevorton. Dave and his wife Lillianne owned and operated 'Dave's Boat Repair' on Ridge Valley Rd in W. Rockhill Twp. It was through the generosity of their brother-in-law, Donald Croissette, who allowed them to use his garage on Thousand Acre Rd, that they were able to begin repairing boats in 1995. They officially formed the business when they moved to their present home. What began as a dream is now a successful business of 19 years. Lillianne knows that the business will continue to flourish with the help of friends Barry Roberts and Tal Bartholomew, who have stood with Dave and Lillianne since the beginning. Dave was a lifetime member and president for 8 years of Trumbauersville Betterment and Social Club, and the Morwood Sportsman's Club, Green Lane. He loved to ride his motorcycle with the sidecar, fishing, boating, airplanes and animals. Surviving with wife; 14 nieces and nephews, including Doug and Dalton Werly; 10 great nieces and nephews; parents-in-law, Raymond H. and Jacquelyn Levy; siblings-in-law: Lorraine, Raymond, Kenny, Jon and Jackie; godsons: Billy Roberts, State College and Lance Johnson, Quakertown. He was preceded in death by sister, Suelynn Werly; grandparents: William R. and Esther Hooper, Ray and Elba Klinger; sister-in-law, Marty. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Mon, Jan. 23 in Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Call: 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
