Dalton Leroy Benner, Sr., age 78, died Fri. Aug. 14, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital Upper Bucks Campus, Quakertown. Born Oct. 8, 1941, in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Melba Viola (Slotter) Benner. Dalton served his country with distinction in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Afterwards, he was long employed as a printing press operator for a variety of newspapers and print shops in the greater Quakertown region. He worked at The Free Press and The Town and Country and at H&N printing before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Dalton is survived by: daughter Denise Price (husband Steven); son Doug Benner; 5 grandchildren; 6 stepgrandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brothers Jerry C. Benner, and Durrell Benner.
