Dale C. Neiman, 78, of Quakertown, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Phoebe Richland. He was the husband of Doris A. (Mundy) Neiman for 62 years. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Floyd and Dorothy (Craft) Neiman. He was a member of Saucon Mennonite Church, Coopersburg. Prior to his retirement in 1998, he worked as an assembler for US Gauge Division of Ametek, Inc., Sellersville for 44 years. Dale became a local baseball icon as a successful coach serving the Quakertown area. He managed and coached community baseball programs for Little League, Connie Mack and the American Legion organizations. The highlight of his coaching career was guiding his team to the 1979 Connie Mack State Championship. He was recognized for his achievements with his induction into both the Pennsylvania American Legion Hall of Fame and Pennridge/Quakertown Hall of Fame. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons; Richard "Butch", Quakertown and Timothy, wife Rosanne, Center Valley; daughter Brenda Hartman, husband Ron, Cincinnati; brother, Robert, wife Gloria, Richlandtown; grandchildren, Nolan, wife Melissa, Deron "Doc", Allison, Dale "DJ", Andrew and Matthew; step-grandchildren, Jason, wife Christine, Kristy, Chris and Josh; great-grandchildren Carli, Caitlyn, Jason and Macie. He was preceded in death by stepmother Mary (Stastny) Neiman, brother Ronald and sister Jean Schmell. Call 6-8:00 PM Sun. Dec. 15th and 10-11:00 Mon. at the funeral home. Services: 11:00 AM Mon. Dec. 16th at the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Interment in Saucon Mennonite Cemetery, Coopersburg.
