Dale "Mike" Lindsay, 65, of Sellersville, died Friday, January, 11 at The Community at Rockhill in Sellersville surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Jeanette "Tink" (Yerkes) Lindsay for 45 years. Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Joy Lindsay. He graduated from Quakertown High School and worked in various manufacturing positions for Avery Dennison Corporation, (Fasson Roll Division) in Quakertown for over 40 years. Mike had a love for many things including his family, reading mystery books & the newspaper, watching game shows (especially Wheel of Fortune), blueberry pies, tastykakes and visiting the Q-Mart. He had a huge love for Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies. For a long while Mike was a Phillies season ticket holder. He coached baseball & softball for many years. One of his most precious moments was coaching his son Tanner and a special season ending in 2nd place in the state for Little League. Mike enjoyed planning and attending breakfasts with his cousins and a group of his retired co-workers. He also loved the family dog, Chloe, who was a faithful companion during his retirement. He loved cars and enjoyed going to car shows and carnivals. He enjoyed watching college sports and was a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. He liked history, discussing current events & sports, and informing everyone of "national days." He was thrilled to become a Grandpop in recent years and loved getting pictures, hearing stories and having visits with his grandchildren. They enjoyed feeding the koi fish with him in the pond at Rockhill. Surviving with his wife are children: Jamie Lindsay, of Lansdale, Tara Argue, husband Bryan of Quakertown and Tanner of Sellersville; grandchildren: Charlotte, Blake & Emersyn; brother: Shawn of Telford; goddaughter: Krystalyn Frederick and many cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Wanda L. Lindsay. Funeral service will be held 10 AM, Thursday, January, 17 in the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown, with a viewing beginning at 9 AM. An additional viewing will be held Wednesday, January, 16 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
