Dale L. Furness, 84 of Coopersburg, formerly of Quakertown, died Sat., Mar. 30 in his home. He was the husband of the late Frances A. (Smola) Furness. Dale spent most of his life working as a mason retiring in 1993. He is a graduate of the former Nockamixon HS. He was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus- Fr. Stommel Council #4545. He was also a member of Bridgeton Hunting Club, Upper Black Eddy. He loved hunting and fishing and was a banjo player in a band. He is survived by sons, Frederick, wife Dorie, Quakertown and Steven, wife Susan, Susquehanna; daughters, Joan Zeh, Azle, TX, Patricia Lewis, husband Jeffrey, Coopersburg, and Kathleen Pagel, Springtown; sister, Virgie King, husband William, Hershey; grandchildren, Jeff, Jon, Travis, Felicia, Dale, Jack, Willie, Gannon, Kevin, Josh, Nick, Sean, and Dorothy; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Lucas, Matthew, and Grayson. He was preceded in death his daughter Susan Louise and brother, William. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Mon., April 8 in St. Isidore's Roman Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. Interment St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Kintnersville. Friends may call 10:00-11:00 am Mon. in the Church.
