Constance L. "Connie" Fenstermacher, 66, of Quakertown, died at home on Sunday, March 6, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Rodney E. Fenstermacher. God saw that you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "Come with me." With tearful eyes we watched you pass away. Free of pain you are laid to rest and will watch over us every day. We love you, and miss you. Born August 15, 1944 in Millersburg, Dauphin Co. she was a daughter of the late Robert and S. Louise (Koppenhaver) Gilbert. Connie enjoyed antiques, finding treasures at flea markets and yard sales, relaxing on the beach listening to the sounds of the waves. She celebrated 18 years of sobriety with AA, and a true believer of the Serenity Prayer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years, Rodney; Connie and Rod first met in kindergarten; daughters, Angie, husband Eric Smith; Beth, husband George Williams; Alison, fiancée Perry Mohr; Alyssa, husband Joey Binder; 6 granddaughters, 1 grandson; brother, Tom, wife Donna Gilbert; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Robert S Gilbert. Memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Wed., March 16th at College Hill Moravian Church, 72 W. Laurel St., Bethlehem. Jeffrey A.
